Servicing

Servicing is based upon the customer’s request and up to date information gathered from the Service Book, Main Dealer Service Records and up to date Maintenance Schedules as set out for the specific manufacturer. Some garages have a one size fits all policy for servicing. We prefer to do things as the manufacturer intended. We are able to check and update Digital Service Records with all of the main brands under the Volkswagen group. This ensures that your vehicle records are kept up to date.

Fault finding

Diagnostics is not always as simple as plugging in the computer to read a fault code. This can guide a Technician towards the fault but can also lead to the incorrect replacement of parts if an understanding of the vehicle system and its workings are not appreciated, or a fault code’s description is mis-read. An hour spent with a Diagnostic Technician is far more cost effective than a simple code reader. We have the very latest work manuals and our team include experts in their field. We pride ourselves on finding the faults others have difficulty in diagnosing.

Cambelt

The replacement of the cambelt is often a complex repair. It requires specialist tools for the majority of Volkswagen and Audi Group engines and careful attention to the workshop manuals to ensure torque figures and assembly routines are followed.

Transmission Rebuilds

Gearboxes are robust and often never cause any concern, however when they do go wrong a specialist is required. We are that specialist – with six years of rebuilding Volkswagen group gearboxes in house for main dealers means that the access to special tooling and knowledge is available. From standard rebuilds for crunching in to 2nd gear on VW transporter T5 through to selector tower replacement on VW tdi 6 Speeds with everything in between. We can repair the transmission in house and provide 2 years warranty on the repair (mileage restrictions apply)
